In each of the five (5) sets of $100 plus Entry Drawings, the Texas Lottery Commission (TLC) will select one thousand, seven hundred and twenty (1,720) $100 plus Entry Prize Winners. Each $100 plus Entry Prize Winner will be awarded a Visa® Reward debit card in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100) and one (1) entry into one (1) of the five (5) drawings for a chance to win a $1,000,000 CASH BLAST Trip Prize.

That’s right, the Space Race is back in fashion and we are lining up Texas Lottery Winners to see which four finalists will ascend to the edge of space. Seventy-Five (75) Winners will receive a trip for two to the Kennedy Space Center to party like it’s 1969.

As a preview to the space trip weekend, each of the seventy-five (75) winners will receive a virtual reality (VR) headset with space reality titles like the award-winning SPHERES, as well as a custom Space Perspective VR experience. Then the space experience continues at Kennedy Space Center, site of some of the most important space missions in history. CASH BLAST TRIP PRIZE HIGHLIGHTS

During your VIP experience, the winner and their guest will participate in the following scheduled events:

Reception Giveaway: On the first night of your Getaway, all seventy-five (75) Winners and your guests will be greeted at the hotel by your hosts who will escort you to an exclusive welcome reception, dinner and CASH prizes! The reception giveaway will award a guaranteed total of twenty-six thousand dollars ($26,000) to include seventy-five (75) cash prizes from one hundred dollars ($100) to one thousand dollars ($1,000).

Kennedy Space Center Private Tour and Luncheon: On Day 2, all winners and guests will take part in an exclusive private Kennedy Space Center tour to get a first-hand view of America’s space program. You will receive a twelve hundred dollar ($1,200) travel allowance to arrange for the winner and their guest to travel to Merritt Island for the event. If you prefer, you may waive the twelve hundred dollar ($1,200) travel allowance and Alchemy3 will book round-trip airfare for the winner and their guest from the primary airport nearest to their home to Orlando International Airport. Ground transportation between the hotel and the airport will be provided for you with this option.

LODGING AT THE EVENT

Winner and their guest will be hosted for a three-night stay in a standard room (double occupancy room and room tax only) at the 4-star Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center which offers the best views of the center’s rocket launch pads from the hotel’s exciting rooftop "Space Bar" from Friday, June 27th through Monday, June 30, 2025.

CASH BLAST FLIGHT PRIZE - SPACE PERSPECTIVE

Four (4) incredibly lucky Winners shall be selected from the seventy-five (75) Trip Prize Winners for a chance to experience the world from a perspective that very few had. Space Perspective has developed a safe, comfortable, and exciting way to travel to the edge of space without having to train like a NASA astronaut. Winners and their guest will travel in a luxury capsule equipped with reclining captains chairs, lounging area, a fully catered meal and an unobstructed 360-degree view. Passengers will even have wifi access to chat with their friends and family on the ground. The capsule is gently lifted by a hydrogen fueled balloon the size of a football field and ascends and descends at a leisurely 12 mph speed. This allows you to enjoy all the splendors of the Earth as you float to an altitude of 100,000 feet. Winners will spend two hours at the edge of space taking in one of the greatest experiences imaginable. During this edge of space spectacular, one of the four Winners will be awarded one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) at one hundred thousand (100,000) feet above the ground, making it the “Highest Cash Prize Ever Awarded at the Edge of Space.”

The journey ends with an equally gentle decent back to Earth where the capsule will be retrieved by the Marine Spaceport Voyager just off the coast of Cape Canaveral. Winners and their guests will cruise back to Titusville for one more night’s stay at the Marriott Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center.

In addition to the Space Perspective experience, Cash Blast FLIGHT PRIZES include:

  • Round-trip coach airfare from any U.S. international airport, within the 48 contiguous U.S. states (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), to Orlando International Airport in Orlando, FL, for the FLIGHT PRIZE Winner and one (1) guest. The FLIGHT PRIZE Winners can select to receive a one thousand two hundred dollar ($1,200) travel allowance buyout to secure their own travel arrangements, including all ground transfers, for themselves and their guest, instead of round-trip coach airfare and airport ground transfers.
  • Ground transfers including airport shuttle service to selected hotel for arrivals departures and between the destination hotel and flight event. Transportation to and from originating airports are not included.

*The Texas Lottery will report a winner of a lottery prize to the IRS once the prize has been claimed, as required under federal law. For U.S. citizens, the federal government requires lottery winnings be reported to the IRS for tax purposes if an individual wins $600 or more and if the winnings are at least 300 times the amount of the per board wagers, or the winnings are subject to federal income tax withholding (winnings greater than $5,000).

The tax withholding rate is 24% for winnings, less the wager, that are greater than $5,000. Prize withholdings are calculated on the total amount of gross proceeds (the amount of winnings minus the amount wagered).
